What You'll Do
- →If selected at the GS-11 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity.
- →Serving as a senior specialist for internal and external recruitment and placement programs.
- →Providing management with the widest range of flexibility for providing comprehensive staffing and placement services,- -utilizing innovative methods in locating qualified applicants to complete position fill actions for Senior Executive Service (SES), Senior Level (SL), Scientific/Technical (ST).
- →Determining applicable precedents, laws, or regulations, identifying the most effective approaches, and validating the correctness and propriety of the actions taken.
- →Performing duties which provide full range of Federal Civilian Recruitment and Placement services to customer offices.
- →Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving the most difficult and complex problems associated with comprehensive recruitment and placement services.
- →Facilitating placement programs to include Priority Placement Program (PPP), Reemployment Priority List (RPL) Program, Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP), and the Agency Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP).
- →Processing a full range of official personnel actions for organizations services using an automated system.
- →Applying laws, regulations, policies, and practices to provide advice and guidance to officials, supervisors, and employees on a wide variety of pay actions and application of single agency compensation authorities where applicable.
- →Processing all Request for Personnel Action (RPAs), coordinating actions with HRO personnel and management to resolve issues as they arise.
- →Preparing job opportunity announcements, conducting complex job analysis, preparing promotion and placement products, and issuing promotion and referral certificates.
