About the Role
About the Position: Serves as a Human Resource Specialist (Military) Responsible for processing monitoring and controls DOD directed separation programs, preparation and issuance of separation orders, and the creation of separation documents. Monitors submission of separation packets in the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A). Reviews, submits, and troubleshoots length of service computations in the Transition Processing System (TRANSPROC) and retirement packets within IPPS-A.
What You'll Do
- →Provides guidance and assistance to customers and subordinate elements of the command on a variety of personnel action types IAW Army regulations and policies.
- →Monitors Soldier readiness and distributes information regarding ID Cards, permanent change of station (PCS) orders, separation actions, and retirements.
- →Analyzes and resolves personnel data discrepancies in a variety of personnel automated systems.
- →Reviews, submits, and troubleshoots length of service computations and creates retirement orders and separation documents ( DD214s) in TRANSPROC and IPPS-A.
- →Utilizes automated personnel systems supporting military personnel functions and operations used to manage service members both locally and service wide.
- →(IPPS-A, ISM, DEERS, RAPIDS) Research and implements regulatory guidance and procedures for processing personnel actions and military personnel file updates.
