What You'll Do
- →You will prepare appropriate correspondence to delay, deliver, or revoke the promotion based on the most appropriate/historic course of action for each case.
- →You will use judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness in researching, choosing, interpreting, modifying, and applying available guidelines for adaptation to specific civil and military law cases.
- →You will monitor suspense dates and update the enlisted promotion database to reflect processing progress/constraints of each case.
- →You will ensure Marines approved for promotion by an Enlisted Remedial Selection Board (ERSB) are appropriately assigned to their respective seniority list with a modified seniority number and are accounted for in the monthly projected numbers.
- →You will respond to correspondence/inquiries via telephone, email, postal service, and walk-in, from other government agencies, internal and external customers requiring assistance with information on a Marine's promotion status/history.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
