What You'll Do
- →You will maintain employee relations documentation in accordance with regulatory guidance.
- →You will persuade others to take particular course of action to resolve labor relations conflicts.
- →You will brief managers and employees on labor relation issues.
- →You will collaborate with management and unions to resolve unfair labor practice charges, grievances, workplace issues.
Requirements
- ✓GS-11: Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
- ✓OR Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- ✓OR Have successfully completed an LL.M degree that is related to the position being filled.
- ✓OR Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience needs to equal one hundred percent.
- ✓GS-09: Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
- ✓OR Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
- ✓OR Have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled OR Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience needs to equal one hundred percent.
- ✓FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
- ✓You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
- ✓It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
