What You'll Do
- →Serving as a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems) GS-0201-9 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission.
- →This position is located in the Workforce Support Branch, Human Capital Office, Mission and Readiness Support Directorate.
- →The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems) and is responsible for providing system administration, reports, technical advice, analysis, and assistance on the operation of human resources (HR) automated systems.
- →This position assists in providing system administration, reports, technical advice, analysis, and assistance on the operation of human resources (HR) automated systems.
- →Typical duties include: Serving as a HR system administrator and HCO point of contact for DHS Human Capital HRIT initiatives (eOPF, EmpowHR, National Finance Center (NFC)) and HRIT Systems/Databases.
- →Assisting in the monitoring and quality assurance review of completed personnel and payroll actions, identifying error-causing sources and researching causes to obtain a solution.
- →Preparing and coordinating operating instructions and desk guides relative to the operations of reporting and data retrieval from the systems.
- →Testing programs or databases, correcting errors and making necessary modifications.
- →Performing the role of the HR archivist to release separated employee eOPF records to the National Personnel Records Center in accordance with federal regulations and the Guide to Personnel Recordkeeping procedures.
