About the Role
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL) in the NAVY RECRUITING PROCESSING STATION of NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT PORTLAND.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as senior advisor for assigned military and civilian employees in the daily operation of the processing station.
- →You will assign work equitably to employees, arranging training and providing on-the-job training to new employees.
- →You will direct other employees on current procedures, policies, and directives.
- →You will prepare workload and production reports, addressing problems encountered during scheduled work meetings.
- →You will monitor the daily processing of scheduled and walk-in applicants.
- →You will perform liaison functions between the District and Station regarding applicant processing actions such as medical requirements, waiver policies, and missing paperwork.
- →You will review records, ensure completeness and accuracy to ensure further processes can occur within the MEPS.
