About the Position: This position will be assigned to the NAF Human Resources Office and is a Regular position with guaranteed hours. What You'll Do
- →This is a developmental position.
- →The incumbent will perform the duties of the below Human Resources Assistant, within his/her skill level and ability.
- →Upon satisfactory completion of required training and experience requirement, and with supervisory recommendation, the incumbent will be noncompetitively promoted to the target grade (NF-03).
- →Serves as an authoritative source of information on procedural and regulatory requirements pertaining to HR personnel matters.
- →Provides guidance and informational resources to supervisors and employees.
- →Explains employee rights and responsibilities.
- →Receives and reviews personnel action requests and supporting documents for validity and completion.
- →Conducts strategic recruitment discussions to advise on recruitment strategies.
- →Advises on permanent and/or temporary placement actions.
- →Explains hiring preferences and priority considerations in the recruitment process to management and/or applicant.
- →Formulates position qualifications for job announcement postings.
- →Creates and releases job opportunity announcements.
- →Generates applicant lists for the issuing of hiring certificate(s).
- →Verifies applicant eligibilities; and makes qualification determinations of applicants.
