About the Role
You will serve as a Historian of NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND.
What You'll Do
- →You will prepare original studies, monographs, briefings, and booklets with historical background and perspective.
- →You will investigate and define past events in order to provide analysis of these events to prepare Navy leadership and forces to more effectively deal with similar problems.
- →You will respond to naval history inquires, conduct oral histories, participate in interviews, and utilize Naval History and Heritage Command's resources.
- →You will coordinate and collaborate with partner museums and will respond to inquiries about Navy history and strategies of historical interpretation.
