You will serve as a HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICIAN SUPERVISOR in the PW DIVISION of NAVFAC
What You'll Do
- →You will ensure that the needed plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available, and that needed stock is available to support planned work.
- →You will answer leaders' questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives and provide the needed information or decisions to the leader on issues/problems that arise during execution of work activities.
- →You will provide information to product and operations managers on the status and progress of work, causes of delays, and overall work operations or issues.
- →You will assure that safety practices and requirements are clearly communicated and followed by all personnel and that housekeeping rules and policies are adhered to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
- →You will plan work, plan assignments based on schedules, establish deadlines, coordinate work, and determine the number of workers needed to accomplish projects.
- →You will be responsible for a wide range of personnel matters concerning subordinates; i.e. performance ratings, leave requests, disciplinary actions, time, attendance and union related paperwork.
- →You will inspect the work of other High Voltage electricians, write and review reports and work sequences.
