You will serve as a HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICIAN in the Facilities & Environmental Production Utility Operations of NAVAL STATION.
What You'll Do
- →You will plan high voltage electrician work sequences to determine the nature of maintenance and repairs needed.
- →You will install new electrical equipment (e.g., transformers, capacitors, insulators, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, meters) to connect main distribution lines.
- →You will use test devices (e.g., voltmeters, ohmmeters, meggers) and electrical tools to conduct basic checks for continuity, resistance, voltage, shorts, insulation breakdowns, and grounds.
- →You will troubleshoot high voltage lines (e.g., overhead, underground) to diagnose faults.
