You will serve as a HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICIAN APPRENTICE in the COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII of NAVAL STATION.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for completing all academic requirements as outlined by the training curriculum and plan.
- →You will learn the names and uses of equipment in the trade, such as kind, size, and use of cable, wire boxes, conduits, and fittings.
- →You will undergo safety training and make use of personal protective equipment.
- →You will follow detailed instructions and assist a Supervisor, Work Leader or Journeyman in performing simple tasks.
- →You will undergo classroom-based instruction, under close supervision, and receive 2,000 hours per year of on-the-job training.
