About the Position: This position is located at the 406th Army Field Support Brigade at Fort Stewart, GA.
What You'll Do
- →Operates heavy mobile wheel and track equipment, including forklifts rated up to 50,000 pounds.
- →Inspects incoming heavy mobile equipment for damage and environmental hazards.
- →Verifies shipping manifests and accountability documents for incoming cargo.
- →Performs operator-level maintenance, including lubrication and fluid level checks.
- →Conducts scheduled monthly, semi-annual, and annual preventive maintenance inspections.
- →Logs all maintenance findings, equipment faults, and completed service actions.
- →Loads and unloads materials from commercial and military transport carriers.
- →Stacks and organizes equipment and supplies in designated warehouse or yard spaces.
- →Conducts physical vehicle inventories to maintain property accountability.
- →Tests vehicle safety systems, including brakes, emergency signals, and tire pressure.
