You will serve as a HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC in the Lifting & Handling Department (700), Deputy Lifting & Handling Dept (701), Crane Maintenance Division (730) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will find ways to correct defects when existing methods and procedures do not give desired results.
- →You will adjust items and systems to assure proper operation of complete systems or vehicles.
- →You will drive various types of government vehicles and operate various types of government equipment for maintenance purposes.
- →You will make changes or modifications in accordance with specifications and guidelines.
