The primary purpose of this position is to lead personnel performing on base maintenance, directionof work,troubleshooting efforts, overhauling, repairing, modifying, and maintaining a variety of types of heavymobile andautomotive equipment.
What You'll Do
- →- CriticalPerforms work direction responsibilities.
- →Usesdiagnostic computer printouts, reports, visual inspection, auditory tests, and test equipment such ascomputerized engineanalyzers, compression testers, test benches, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and special feeler and dialgauges. - Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations andmaintains a safe andclean work environment.
- →Uses and assures proper fit of required safety equipment and clothing.
- →Uses and maintains specialized tools.
- →Responsible for proper handling and disposition of hazardous materials.
