What You'll Do
- →Performs the full range of overhaul and repair work including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, determining the exact type and extent of repair required.
- →Maintains hydraulic lifts, materials handling equipment (MHE), cargo transporters, tow tractors, truck tractors, truck trailers, generators, GSA vehicles, and truck cranes.
- →Repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and controls.
- →Performs major and minor overhaul of all types of standard and automatic transmissions.
- →Performs the full range of overhaul and repair work to automotive vehicles.
- →Conducts functional and performance tests on completed work products using a variety of test procedures and equipment.
- →Disassembles, repairs and/or rebuilds components and assemblies such as engines, transmissions and differentials by fitting and installing needed parts.
- →Overhauls and repairs gasoline and electric driven generators, compressor, welders, gasoline space heaters, pallet jacks, and floor jacks.
- →Determines nature and extent of repairs necessary and replaces, reworks, or refinishes worn or damaged parts.
