What You'll Do
- →You will install, start-up, maintain, overhaul, service, and repair commercial and industrial furnaces, hot water boilers, steam boilers, reheat systems, incinerators, heat pumps and related heating systems.
- →You will analyze system performance and make decision adjustments to control water temperature, air temperature, steam and water pressures, combustion efficiency, airflow and humidity.
- →You will install, start-up, troubleshoot, service, and make repairs on a variety of commercial and industrial refrigeration, ventilation, and cooling systems.
- →You will perform diagnostic testing of systems that are computer controlled and use a wide range of meters and gauges for testing and calibrating systems.
- →You will plan work from electrical and electronic block diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical orders for commercial/industrial systems used to air condition warehouses, office buildings and mission-critical assets.
- →You will drive a utility truck or similar vehicle to and from the work site in order to transport self, supplies, and other employees.
