This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Performs the full range of work involved in the repair, overhaul, installation, maintenance and servicing of a variety of commercial and industrial heating, ventilation and air conditioning units and system.
What You'll Do
- →Modify, alter, repair and install unusually complex or unique air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- →Repair, troubleshoot, install, and maintain commercial and industrial heating units and systems.
- →Work with engineering and design personnel to discuss plans, modifications, and user needs.
- →Utilize Direct Digital Control systems to control operation of HVAC equipment.
- →Apply a knowledge of operating systems such as Metasys, Extended Architecture, HVAC Pro and FX (Johnson Controls) to control HVAC systems.
