About the Position: This position is located within the Department of Surgery Otorhinolaryngology Services Clinic at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Tennessee This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Provides specialized clinical and technical support to Otolaryngology physicians across both inpatient and outpatient care settings.
- →Manages the patient intake process by interviewing patients to document their chief complaints and symptoms and obtain vital signs.
- →Assists Otolaryngology Medical Officers during a variety of specialized treatments, surgical procedures, and tests.
- →Assists in pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care of patients Prepares and arranges sterile surgical instruments for general and specialized ear, nose, and throat (ENT) procedures.
- →Performs minor procedures under direct supervision of the doctor such as irrigating patients' ear to remove earwax buildup or administering prescribed medications.
