About the Position: Serves as a Health Technician (Occupational) at a Naval branch health clinic. Responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health services to eligible beneficiaries in the area of responsibility (AOR). This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Conducts patient screenings to obtain and review medical and/or occupational history.
- →Performs various screenings, such as vision, vital signs, spirometry, audiometry, and electrocardiograms.
- →Evaluates patients for referral to nurse or physician.
- →Verifies and orders all indicated laboratory studies, x-rays, immunizations, and other ancillary tests as appropriate.
- →Facilitates the safe and effective operation of medical equipment and contributes to a safe working environment.
