About the Position: Position located at Naval Base Health Clinic Kings Bay. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Performs a variety of duties requiring a foundational understanding of human anatomy and physiology to execute multiple occupational health screening functions for employees.
- →Reviewing medical and occupational health histories, conducting diagnostic tests and examinations, and reviewing pertinent data to determine requirements for ancillary testing.
- →Triages patients upon arrival and coordinates patient flow throughout the clinic.
- →Performs audiometry, vision screenings, and obtains vital signs and height/weight measurements to evaluate patients, referring them to a nurse, physician’s assistant, or physician as indicated.
- →Counsels patients regarding test results, health promotion topics, and workplace health hazards while ensuring patient privacy at all times.
- →Provides comprehensive orientation to new Health Technicians and administrative staff joining clinic.
- →Delivers essential administrative support, including managing patient scheduling, administering databases, and compiling statistical data.
