About the Position: The Health Technician (Occupational Health) will work at the Blue Grass Army Depot (BGAD) Occupational Health Clinic in Richmond, KY in a clinic environment preforming a variety of duties to include patient intake, health assessments, and maintaining medical records. Clinic hours are 0630-1700; Monday - Thursday. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide patient screening to obtain and review medical and/or occupational history.
- →Perform various screenings, such as vital signs, vision, spirometry, audiometry, and electrocardiograms.
- →Document pertinent data in the electronic medical record, as well as other documents, as appropriate for the examination being performed.
- →Assist in coordinating the patient flow throughout the clinic.
- →Assist in patient reception and answering telephones.
- →Participate in safe practices, emergency procedures, and proper handling of medical waste.
- →Assist with preparation and maintenance of medical records, including record transfers, and information release procedures.
- →Refer abnormal screening results to clinic RN or Provider for evaluation.
