About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is located at the Naval Health Clinic Quantico Resource Management Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
What You'll Do
- →Provide front desk customer services.
- →Provide instructions for proper specimen collection.
- →Perform routine test processing.
- →Conduct basic equipment checks.
- →Perform venipuncture and capillary collections.
- →Use proper patient identification and labeling.
- →Respond to patient emergencies.
- →Train new staff in collection techniques Protect patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA.
- →Maintain organized filing systems for hard copy reports.
- →Maintain HIPAA compliant handling of patient information.
- →Prepare specimens for shipment following EPA (CFR 40) and OSHA (CFR 29) regulations.
