About the Position: This position is with the Nutrition Care Division, Production and Service Branch located at Tripler Army Medical Center, on the Island of Oahu, HI. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Maintain control of inpatient meal orders and room service menus.
- →Input data into a nutrition software program.
- →Receive orders for early, late, and hold trays from ward staff to ensure all providers have proper meals for patient care.
- →Provide cross coverage in the Call Center as needed fielding patient diet calls.
- →Collect objective data from medical records including patient's diagnosis, laboratory test results, anthropometric measures, medical history, and medication.
- →Evaluate individual patient's understanding of nutrition counseling to assess their potential for compliance and ability to choose an adequate diet.
