About the Position: This position is located at the 59th Medical Wing - Joint Base San Antonio - Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center; Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Conduct occupational health screenings in the Flight and Operational Medicine Flight to include Flight and Operational Medicine Clinic (FOMC), Base Operational Medicine Cell (BOMC), Occupational Medical Clinic (OM), and Physical Exams Section (PES).
- →Perform audiograms, vision screening, spirometry, electrocardiography, and measurement of blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- →Screen employees during initial, periodic and termination occupational health evaluations.
- →Make referrals of complex cases to other healthcare providers as necessary.
- →Maintain all testing equipment within required calibration standards.
- →Maintain health records, medical data, diagnostic test results for review and evaluation by the Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, and/or Physician.
