About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in the Department of Surgery, Audiology Services, Honolulu, Hawaii. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices.
What You'll Do
- →Assist the Audiologist in the testing and application of newborn and infant hearing screenings.
- →Communicate screening results and follow up recommendations with parents, health care providers and State Agency.
- →Maintain records of tests and tracking data.
- →Process hearing aid orders for Active-Duty Service Members through Remote Order Entry System (ROES) and Military Retirees through the Retiree At Cost Hearing Aid Program (RACHAP).
- →Set up required medical equipment daily.
- →Order equipment and supplies for both patient examination and hearing aids.
