About the Position: This position is located within Brooke Army Medical Center on Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. Advance in Hire May Be Authorized This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Assist with routine technical laboratory procedures within established competency and training requirements.
- →Receive, review, and verify physical surgical specimens.
- →Review and verify pathology requisitions for completeness.
- →Manage end-to-end administration of internal and external pathology consultations.
- →Maintain shipment tracking logs, status reports, and receipt confirmations.
- →Schedule leadership meetings, managing educational activities, organize laboratory tours, coordinate resident rotations.
- →Perform data entry, case reconciliation and report verification.
- →Collect operational metrics and utilize office automation software to generate recurring and ad hoc performance reports.
