About the Position: This position is located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, Tennessee.
What You'll Do
- →Assists military health system beneficiaries on a walk-in and/or telephonic basis with referral issues/problems.
- →Monitors all active duty service members' appointments that are referred to other Military Treatments Facilities (MTF).
- →Applies knowledge of medical specialties and services to determine which referral results are to be documented with which ordered referral.
- →Utilizes office automation equipment, word processing software, and mission specific medical software to compile and type a variety of material including progress reports or memos.
- →Receives patient or staff complaints involving the referral tracking system, and works with staff to resolve those problems.
