About the Position: This position is located at the 59th Medical Wing - Joint Base San Antonio - Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center; Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Develop patient safety goals and objectives to integrate patient safety, performance improvement (PI), quality management (QM), and risk management (RM) activities.
- →Recommend patient safety initiatives for approval by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) leadership.
- →Collaborates with members of the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) Quality Team to identify, report, analyze, and prevent patient safety events, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- →Implement and evaluate system performance improvement and risk reduction activities.
- →Review clinical and patient safety indicators, analyze findings and trends, and make recommendations for best options to affect organization-wide patient safety outcomes.
