About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at 56th Medical Group, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Support the Military Treatment Facility Healthcare Quality team with the Risk Management program ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to meet organizational needs.
- →Participate in studies, reviewing clinical and business indicators, analyzing findings/trends; and making recommendations to the Healthcare Risk Manager for best options to affect organization-wide quality outcomes.
- →Assist in the collection and analysis of clinical quality data and report results of continuous monitoring activities for use in organizational decision-making.
- →Assist in preparing for surveys/inspections and may serve as an internal resource and liaison to accrediting/inspection agencies.
- →Collaboratively develop processes to identify and reduce the risk of harm events; Potentially Compensable Events (PCEs), and other adverse events to the facility’s patients, staff, and visitors.
- →Assist with Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), Military Claims Act (MCA), malpractice claims, and Active Duty malpractice cases.
- →Assist with the collection of organization data to support the development of performance indicators under the Military Treatment Facility strategic plan.
