About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at the Guthrie Army Health Clinic at Fort Drum, New York. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the senior health system specialist while ensuring compliance with accreditation as well as applicable Joint Commission, state, and federal standards.
- →Coordinate conferences and seminars for appropriate staff while addressing applicable standards for the United States Army (USA) and Medical Department Activity (MEDDAC).
- →Assist with the development of policies and procedures to meet required standards.
- →Develop and oversee the Tracer Methodology Program while disseminating information and implementing educational classes.
- →Act as a resource and subject matter expert for medical staff, administration and USA MEDDAC staff regarding standards, accreditation process, etc.
- →Evaluate developed policies and procedures to ensure they are compliance with Joint Commission standards.
- →Serve as the USA MEDDAC alternate risk management coordinator and assume the duties due to absent or need of assistance.
