About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Acts as the main point of contact and advisor for beneficiaries, providers, and agencies on matters related to health benefits programs, primarily TRICARE Investigates and resolves debt collection, billing problems, and claims payment issues between patients, civilian facilities, and the TRICARE fiscal intermediary.
- →Serves as the Healthcare Privacy Officer, managing and evaluating compliance with HIPAA, the Privacy Act, and other laws related to Protected Health Information (PHI).
- →Develops and delivers privacy training for all staff and investigates any complaints or breaches of patient privacy.
- →Provides briefings on health benefits to beneficiaries at various events and develops informational materials for local media to publicize program changes and updates.
