About the Role
You will serve as a HEALTH PHYSICIST in the Radiological Control Technician Qualification School Code 105.7 in the Radiological Control Office of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will research and review courses involving radiological controls and Health Physics aspects used in the Radiological training of personnel.
- →You will evaluate shop/code classroom and practical ability training in order to review adequacy, accuracy, effectiveness and adherence to standards.
- →You will review graded written tests and surveil practical tests.
- →You will train and certify other instructors.
- →You will conduct work site surveillances to monitor the effectiveness of training.
Requirements
- ✓GS-11: 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
