This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Strategic Operations and Regulatory Affairs (OSORA). As a Health Insurance Specialist (Technical Advisor), GS-0107-14, you will provide leadership on the coordination, integration, and advancement of complex, time-sensitive, and high-visibility actions requiring review, decision, or signature by CMS and HHS senior leadership.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the senior technical authority in support of enterprise-wide clearance and coordination processes affecting CMS-administered health insurance programs.
- →Develops and recommends enterprise-wide procedures governing executive correspondence, priority non-correspondence items, interagency clearances, and Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) coordination processes.
- →Provides enterprise-wide technical oversight and governance of CMS clearance and coordination systems supporting executive decision-making for health insurance program actions.
- →Serves as an agency focal point for clearance and integration of significant health insurance program actions, including strategic enhancement of CMS' clearance systems and their integration with Departmental processes.
