This position is located at the VA Medical Center (VAMC), in Asheville North Carolina, within the Eligibility and Enrollment Department of the Health Administration Service (HAS).
What You'll Do
- →Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers of varying backgrounds.
- →Coordinate with multiple services to assist customers with form completion and determine eligibility for VA care.
- →Serve as advisor and expert to HAS Section Chiefs, supporting management information for health eligibility-related programs and special registries.
- →Act as Enrollment & Eligibility representative at outreach events, helping veterans determine eligibility and distributing materials.
- →Make eligibility determinations for VA healthcare, run data reports for unverified applications, manage errors, and update demographic info.
- →Review, verify, and analyze submitted data for consistency with financial and program objectives, and adherence to VA directives.
- →Work Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
