What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is: As an Air Reserve Technician (ART), to serve as the Senior Support Staff Specialist at the group level organization.
- →The Group Senior Support Staff Specialist advises, carries out, and monitors the commander/director's and organizational policies, programs, and standards applicable to the assigned force.
- →Additionally, provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of the tasks set forth herein.
- →The Group Senior Support Staff Specialist is the commander/director's key advocate andadvisor onreadiness, training, professional development, utilization of the force, operations tempo, standards,conduct,and quality of life.
- →Performs a variety of duties that ensure the efficient functioning of force.
- →Provide generalsupervisionof the assigned force.
- →Monitors and ensures compliance of training and equipping force for deployment taskings.
- →Actively leads in the organization's fitness program.
- →Advises the senior rater on promotions and performance reports and assists/advises in theselectionand nomination of Chief/Senior Leader for positions of greater responsibility Evaluates the quality of leadership, management, and supervisory training.
- →Visits, briefs,and sits onpanels for professional military education (PME) facilities.
