About the Role
In this position you will serve as a Grain Marketing Specialist responsible for carrying out a variety of complex and critical functions related primarily to the administrative functions, assistance to the Director of Field Management Division, to Field Office Managers (FOMs) and the developmental oversight of the training requirements for technical personnel within one or more field offices of the Grain Inspection system.
What You'll Do
- →The duties may include, but are not limited to: Serves as a recognized authority and participates with various Field Office Managers (FOM’s) in recommending revisions, modifications, new program policies or procedures.
- →Assists Field Office Managers (FOMs) and Assistant Field Office Managers (AFOMs) with assessments and evaluations of official services handled by the field offices Serves as a recognized authority in the analysis, evaluation, maintenance, support and training of Grain Inspectors/Technicians for technical program activities.
- →Recommends actions to minimize adverse impacts and maximize potential benefits to the business process and operations.
- →Analyzes feasibility studies, proposals, and in-depth analyses of current requirements and forecast trends and future needs.
- →Evaluates business needs having impact throughout a major organizational component against short- and long-range objectives.
- →Identifies, schedules and provides training for all official personnel through officially established procedures.
