This position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Office of Mission Support (OMS). The incumbent serves as a senior Government Information Specialist (GIS) Privacy Act Automation (PAA) Project Manager) within the Information Access and Privacy (IAP) Directorate.
What You'll Do
- →Specific duties include: Oversees planning, analysis and execution of activities associated with PARF program.
- →Coordinates the development and enhancement of automated and technology-enable processes supporting records retrieval, review, redaction and delivery.
- →Conducts in-depth program analysis to identify operational gaps, workflow inefficiencies, and areas for modernization.
- →Serves as the primary technical expert for PARF processes, ensuring compliance with FOIA, PA, and DOJ requirements.
- →Develops goals, measurable objectives, and performance metrics to improve program outcomes and accountability.
- →Provides expert evaluation of PA and FOIA compliance across VBA systems, workflows, and functions.
- →Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm Compressed/Flexible: Not Available.
