About the Role
The position is located in the Office of the Executive Secretary, Executive Secretariat Staff (S/ES-S). The position is assigned to the Correspondence, Records, and Staffing Division. You will utilize qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of S/ES-S and DOS information management programs.
What You'll Do
- →Analyzes organizational program performance data to identify program slippages and impact and prepares program status reports for review at all levels.
- →Advises management on the interpretation of court decisions and administrative rulings issued by the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and the Office of the Legal Advisor related to records management.
- →Coordinates Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Congressional, and Department of Justice requests to the Offices of the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Counselor, Under Secretaries, and offices supported by the Executive Secretary.
- →Provides expert guidance to senior management with respect to the release of information requested under the provisions of FOIA or Privacy Act.
- →Establishes, maintain, and promote the Records Management Program for the Offices of the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Counselor, Under Secretaries, and offices supported by the Executive Secretary that are established at the national level.
