You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. What You'll Do
- →You will manage, direct, monitor, interpret, and seek resolutions pertaining to all supply matters which meet requirements of PHNSY IMF Detachment Stirling (PDS) availability schedules.
- →You will be responsible for overseeing and managing internal and administrative issues among subordinates that support the execution of the logistics of material and consumable handling from job planning to job execution.
- →You will be primary contact for PDS supply operations and responsible for all supply documentation in accordance with the applicable regulations and/or command policy.
- →You will develop and initiate administrative procedures and controls to ensure that the supply and material support work is accomplished in an orderly manner within the time and budget constraints.
- →You will recommend the use of approved alternative sources of supply when faced with long lead times and identifies potential sources of supply for emergency requirements.
- →You will perform problem identification, analysis of systemic causes, and proposes corrective action recommendations for approval and/or implementation.
- →You will identify and resolve immediate issues and processes that affect PDS supply operations.
- →You will plan, develop, and carry out vital supply projects and programs.

- ✓Additional Information: The incumbent will be assigned to work in areas where certain, potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present.
- ✓These agents will include, but are not limited to fumes, dust, noise, heat, ionizing and non ionizing radiation, and chemicals.
- ✓To ensure employee safety and health, PDS maintains personal protection programs consistent with applicable laws and regulations.
- ✓These programs may include engineering controls, training, work procedures, use of personnel protective equipment, and medical surveillance.
- ✓As part of medical surveillance programs, the incumbent may be required to take medical examinations to assess his or her medical qualification for work involving these agents.
- ✓The work requires regular and recurring visits to the industrial production areas.
- ✓There is a considerable amount of walking, standing, bending, stooping and/or climbing and which may include confined spaces.
- ✓The incumbent will be required to travel periodically, including air travel, on a TDY/emergent basis to provide/receive training, provide or receive briefs, may need to perform ship checks, participate in other production efforts, program reviews, participate in conferences, conduct surveys, advise of contractor progress reviews, and on-site problem resolution.
- ✓Work is performed primarily in an office setting, but requires visits to shops, departments and other work sites throughout PHNSY&IMF.
- ✓ICTAP Applicants: To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
