About the Role

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. What You'll Do

  • Responsible for management control and efficient operation of the Temporary Lodging Facilities up to 40 units.
  • Responsible for the front office, housekeeping and maintenance functions.
  • Conduct surveys and studies to ensure that services and facilities meet the needs, cleanliness and desire of patrons.
  • Implement new policies or innovative promotions that increase occupancy rate, deliver quality guest service and maintain the required level of profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies/procedures to ensure safety and security of occupants.
  • Coordinates with counterparts in the local hotel/motel industry to arrange space at a reasonable rate for patrons when space is not available at the Lodge.
  • Plans, organizes work and manages internal resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies.
  • Prepares financial plans, budgets, inventories, cost controls, and related records and reports.
  • Review the financial status of the assigned activity and recommend changes considered necessary.
  • Either directly or indirectly, through subordinate supervisors, manages activity employees.
  • Trains, schedules work, appraises performance, counsels assigned personnel, and recommend personnel actions.
  • Effectively supports the Marine Corps Equal Employment Opportunity policy, and ensures compliance with fire, safety, security, sanitation and other environmental issues.
  • Manages new property resources and provides advice on renovations and improvements.
  • Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies and equipment to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud, waste and abuse.
