The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the senior manager, Partnership & Engagements Division, sharing with the Division Chief the full scope of responsibilities for directing the activities of the Division and, in the chief's absence, possesses the same authority and prerogatives.

What You'll Do

  • DUTY 1 - Provides expertise and guidance related to program management for 16AF Information Warfare functions and responsibilities for international partner program management, training, exercise and operation support.
  • DUTY 2 - Serves as the command focal point for Security Cooperation/Partnership and Engagements programs in support of USCYBERCOM, USEUCOM, USTRANSCOM, USSTRATCOM, AND USSPACECOM.
  • DUTY 3 - Serves as a functional authority on partnership Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) issues to Leadership.
  • DUTY 4 - Leads interagency/international cyber/intelligence partnerships contributions to plans development.

  • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS.
  • This position is in the Excepted Service.
  • DoD Components with DCIPS positions apply Veterans' Preference to preference eligible candidates as defined by Section 2108 of Title 5 USC, in accordance with the procedures provided in DoD Instruction 1400.25, Volume 2005, DCIPS Employment and Placement.
