About the Position: This position is located at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a cashier, operating the Point of Sale cash register system, collecting cash from customers, making exact change, and safe guarding cash according to established procedures.
- →Help deliver loaded food carts to the hospital wards for meal service to the patients meeting meal delivery times in accordance with section standards.
- →Manually or using mechanical equipment, wash heavy pots and pans, dishes, trays, and serviceware from the kitchen, dining room, catering functions and patient care units.
- →Clean and sanitize dishroom and pot and pan areas to include countertops, dishwashing machine, dish racks, tray return, scrapping sinks floors, and pot and pan machine.
- →Disassemble trays returned from dining area, and dispose of waste in accordance with established safety and sanitation procedures.
