About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Clinical Support, Nutrition Care, Food and Production Services at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. The position performs a variety of tasks associated with the preparation of simple foods, serving prepared foods and beverages and cleaning food service trays, pans, dishes and work areas. Incumbent is subject to rotating shift assignments on a 2 shifts per day, 7 days a week schedule.
What You'll Do
- →Set up food service counters and steam tables with hot and cold food.
- →Prepare service stands by setting up condiments, silverware, and glassware.
- →Prepare coffee, tea and other beverages according to instructions.
- →Portion salads and desserts for regular and modified diets.
- →Wash dishes, pots and pans, either manually or by use of mechanical equipment.
- →Maintain garbage collection areas including garbage and trash containers.
