About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Child Development Center. This position is regular, full time, working 35-40 hours per week. This is a full time position with a full benefits package. Moderate physical effort is required in moving or lifting objects up to 40 pounds. Heavy lifting is sometimes involved. Constantly standing, bending, stooping and reaching. .
What You'll Do
- →The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of manual tasks in food preparation and food service areas such as preparing vegetables, salads, desserts and other food items.
- →Basic responsibilities include securing and washing food, peeling, mashing or delivering food to the kitchen for cooking; slicing meats, preparing sandwiches and salads; measuring and mixing ingredients.
- →Follows recipes as directed.
- →Cleans, scrubs, wipes or washes service equipment such as work tables or refrigerators.
- →Separates food waste and trash.
