This position is located at: The Forge Bar and Grill - Fort Polk, Louisiana. The Forge Bar and Grill at Fort Polk offers a casual dining spot serving burgers, sandwiches, and drinks in a relaxed, community-friendly setting. Located at 1321 Corps Road, it's known for solid service, affordable prices, and a comfortable atmosphere for Soldiers, families, and visitors. This is an open continuous announcement. All qualified applicants will be forwarded to management on a weekly or as needed basis.
What You'll Do
- →Prepares a limited variety of short order fast food items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chicken sandwiches, pizzas, French fries, etc.
- →Coordinates food and beverage needs for special events, not limited to preparing and serving food and cleaning work areas.
- →Serves as cashier in the snack bar, receiving payment by cash or charge.
- →Completes cash report at the end of assigned shift.
- →Prepares/slices lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and other vegetables for sandwiches, salads, and pizzas.
- →Assures that tables/work surfaces are promptly cleared and cleaned to include: walls, floors, equipment, and storage areas of other work areas as well.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
