It is the applicant's responsibility to read all sections and associated links in this announcement. Prepares and serves food items, handles cash and records, and maintains a clean work area. Works independently, follows safety and food handling procedures, and provides good customer service. Requires standing, lifting up to 40 lbs, and working safely in food service areas.
What You'll Do
- →DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all of the following duties on a recurring basis:Prepares and serves food items which include, but are not limited to, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, lemonade drinks, etc.
- →Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- →Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary.
- →Maintains related cash records.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
- →SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Skill and Knowledge: Able to work alone.
- →Know the proper use of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
- →Know simple food handling techniques.
- →Able to work safely.
- →Able to serve uniform individual portions and avoid distractions when several guests ask for different items at the same time.
- →Able to use simple arithmetic.
- →RESPONSIBILITY: Receives verbal and written assignments.
- →Is expected to work as scheduled and to know what steps are needed to complete the work.
- →Accomplishes work on own initiative.
Requirements
- ✓High School graduate or equivalent.
- ✓All candidates (to include current employees) are required to include transcripts with their application package.
- ✓Failure to do so may result in an ineligible rating.
- ✓Only education from accredited and pre-accredited institutions will be accepted.
- ✓Foreign education must be evaluated for equivalency in the United States.
