THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a FLIGHT ENGINEER (INSTRUCTOR), Position Description Number D0606000 and is part of the KS AASF 1, National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →As a FLIGHT ENGINEER (INSTRUCTOR), GS-2185-10, you will instruct and perform flight crew work supporting UH 60A Black Hawk transport helicopter.
- →Serve as instructor/flight examiner providing instruction, evaluation and examination on ground and operational training flights to develop and upgrade skills of aircrew members.
- →Serve under the supervision of Chief, Training Operations, who provides general guidance on overall objectives to be achieved.
- →Incumbent independently carries out work in accordance with existing guidance and established procedures depicted in operations manuals, safety directives, maintenance schedules orders and manuals, command directives and local operating procedures.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓Prefer a graduate of the US Army Non-rated crew member Flight Instructor/Standardization Instructor Course.
- ✓Must possess a valid Army medical flying status clearance prior to appointment.
