The Fire Protection Section is responsible for fire prevention, fire protection and fire suppression activities for the partially wooded 350 acre Perry Point Medical Center campus consisting of approximately 180 buildings (Including 110 single family dwellings) with 1.6 million sqaure feet of floor space and a two mile shoreline along the Susquehanna River.
What You'll Do
- →Hazardous Materials Operations 10% - First responder to hazardous material incidents occurring on station and performs as a team member in determining the materials/ chemical involve, the degree of life hazard and potential environmental impact. - Responds with the appropriate equipment to hazardous materials incidents in the surrounding communities.
