You will serve as a FIREFIGHTER (PARAMEDIC/HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TECHNICIAN) in the FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DEPARTMENT of NAVSTA GREAT LAKES IL.
What You'll Do
- →You will comply with health and safety rules and procedures while treating victims.
- →You will assess a patient systematically to identify the nature, extent, and seriousness of the patient's condition.
- →You will determine the potential harm of hazardous material to people and the environment.
- →You will complete written reports and records on emergency services incidents, patients, drugs administered equipment, or supplies used.
- →You will determine measures needed to minimize the loss or damage as a result of fire or explosion.
