What You'll Do
- →You will administer medications and solutions orally or intravenously under the direction of standing orders or of an off-site physician.
- →You will interpret an electrocardiogram (EKG) for a patient with an unstable heartbeat to determine future medical treatment.
- →You will provide invasive airway procedures (e.g., needle or surgical cricothyrotomy, pleural decompression, endotracheal intubation, nasal intubation).
- →You will enter confined spaces to perform patient care, rescue and recovery.
- →You will extract a trapped patient to prevent further harm during removal.
